This went much better! Oops forgot to update the times, bc I was so excited about back bending. Four out of six of the laps were excellent, and I didn’t feel like shit afterwards. Not sure if it’s because it was warmer or because I’m becoming acclimated to running. Anyway, I’ll figure out what I want to do next week. To continue or try 800m.
– AMRAP: 10 rounds of 10 push ups and 10 squats for time: 6m30s
So that was an accident, I wasn’t supposed to do HIIT today since it was a run day, but I as on autopilot, so tomorrow I’ll just do a cardio warm up instead of 3 days strength in a row.
– Warm Up
– Legs & Hips
– Front & Middle Splits
– Shoulder Warm Up & Stretch
– Back Bend
– Cool Down
2016 February BackBend Challenge – Advanced: Day 4
– Foot to Head Pigeon
– Front Splits
– Middle Splits (& Pancake)
Probably Slightly Less Boring Than Working sauce! Front splits, not so much. Only barely got left and was about 1 inch from right. But my chest touched the ground during pancake!!!! And my middle split was lower than ever! Also tucking my hips and squeezing my core is becoming easier during back bends! I really felt my middle back bend and my lower back felt really protected today! I actually felt warm today. I was wearing a t-shirt, and not a workout shirt. Not sure if that helped!
